I just wrote up a new tutorial for Honey Thistle, go check it out if you’re crafty inclined :)
I’m pretty fond of driftwood, they’re smooth & light, and evoke memories of happy times beside the shore. I recently had the chance to go up to Lake Muskoka, and took advantage of the opportunity to collect some driftwood. I left them out under the sun to dry, and brought them back to the city with me to transform into pendants.
I’ve always wanted a statement necklace to wear for fun, so I made this little doodad a few weeks ago. Having never beaded before, I went on youtube to find some tutorials - there are many! But I have a really short attention span & ended up just making it up as I went along. Now I just have to find some shirts/dresses to wear it with ;)
This is all my craftiness from the past 2 days. Those circley medallions are going to be part of a large bib-like necklace - super excited about that. The two felt patches are for a swap I’m doing (one of them’s a zombie party elephant - say that three times fast!) and the flower brooch is a result of not martha. I feel pretty fulfilled craft-wise right now, and I’m falling in love with wool felt!
