I’m super excited about these new miniature terrarium necklaces! This time around I made little forest animals (and a special caterpillar from alice in wonderland)… I can totally picturing them getting together and having a forest fiesta of sorts :)
If you’d like to view each one individually in more detail, feel free to head on over to ye olde etsy shop (link on the side bar to yer right).
This is my ornament of the day :) made out of wool felt and a love for mushrooms! Ever since I started taking pics of mushrooms, I’ve been itching to make some shroom related crafts.
I’m challenging myself to make an ornament every day for 30 days (coincidentally the month of November ;D) - I’ll be posting the result each day, and may include some simple step by steps whenever fancy strikes me!
Feel free to follow along on my other blog :)
I reworked a series of necklaces this past weekend (they just weren’t working…) and had a chance to shoot some photos :) Better photos to come next weekend (hopefully!). They’re my take on dreamcatchers…
I just wrote up a new tutorial for Honey Thistle, go check it out if you’re crafty inclined :)
I’m pretty fond of driftwood, they’re smooth & light, and evoke memories of happy times beside the shore. I recently had the chance to go up to Lake Muskoka, and took advantage of the opportunity to collect some driftwood. I left them out under the sun to dry, and brought them back to the city with me to transform into pendants.
I’ve always wanted a statement necklace to wear for fun, so I made this little doodad a few weeks ago. Having never beaded before, I went on youtube to find some tutorials - there are many! But I have a really short attention span & ended up just making it up as I went along. Now I just have to find some shirts/dresses to wear it with ;)
